Pastor of The Reconciled Church
Pastor Lois Tyler is a teacher and explicator of the Word. She has the Holy Spirit inspired ability to interpret the Word of God making it relevant, bringing about a change in the lives of those who embrace it. Her gift and passion is the ministry of deliverance, especially for women. Based on her own personal history and what God has delivered her from she brings compassion and the desire to see women free. Her life in ministry began as a child, raised in the church. In 1991 she dedicated her life to the Lord and began the process of her salvation. During this process she was called to the ministry of intercession. Through a vision from the Lord she was called to be a covenant teacher, like the Prophet Amos, to the office of Prophetess. Her spiritual training was under the leadership of Pastor Lucell Trammer of Dove Christian Center Church where she served as Intercessor and Spiritual Counselor. Further leadership classes were taken at Word of Faith International Christian Center. She completed a course in Apologetics at Evangel Ministries. She was a certified lay speaker in the United Methodist church for many years. Prophetess Tyler is the founder of The Daughters of Zion Ministries, a ministry of Intercessors from various denominations and churches, and now pastors weekly on Saturdays at The Reconciled Church in Southfield, Michigan. Since 1995, she has visited and prayed in hospitals, homes, and with other church intercessory ministries. She taught Sunday School classes at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Detroit. She is a former member of the Women of Wisdom Prayer Support Group. She has served as a mentor for the Ymoja Program at Carlyle F. Stewart Elementary School. She currently serves on the advisory board of S.K.I.P., Inc. (Save Kids of Incarcerated Parents).
A former member of Hope United Methodist Church, in 1998, she co-founded the Intercessory Prayer Ministry, which annually presented a day of prayer and intercession in the acknowledgement of “National Day of Prayer.” She served in the Open Door Prison Ministry, taught on prayer for New Members sessions, and was an instructor of the Sunday School Class and the Life Application Bible Class. She has ministered a revelational Word for many years at different churches, conventions and retreats. She recently authored a book of prayers entitled, Prayers of Abounding Faith. In 2015 she authored a revised edition. Wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother; she attended and completed a business course at Bedford Business School in Brooklyn, New York. She worked as supervisor in the data processing department for New York Life Insurance Company. Later, she served as a Special Project Assistant to Councilwomen Barbara Rose-Collins. She retired as an entrepreneur and owner of Mrs. Tyler Full Service Catering.
